Here at Julija Ab Art, I specialise in watercolour landscapes and floral art that not only beautifies spaces but also resonates with emotions. My goal is to inspire and connect with art enthusiasts, offering pieces that evoke feelings and create memories.

My art journey stated when I was a kid just learning to draw. I am so grateful that my parents allowed me to draw on the walls before the renovation and later on when we moved my dad got some old furniture,bought some paint and brushes and let me go to town with that. When I was about to finish school I was certain I want to choose a creative path. I entered Art Academy in my home town in Kaunas, Lithuania and got a diploma in Bachelor of Arts.

Life happened and I moved to UK and later on to London. I was working full time in customer service, but something was missing, I was craving to create, paint and draw.I started doing it occasionally, word spread and I did a few commissions for my colleagues and customers. But it didn't feel like it was enough. 

Few years later lock down happened and I have to admit it was the best time of my life. We couldn't go outside, but at that time I dived deeper inside. I felt drawn to watercolour and started brushing up my skills. Since then I never stopped, watercolour doesn't let go...

I paint a feeling and I get inspired in my little garden, on a walk in nature or botanical garden, by the way the light falls or the wind blows... It's hard for me to describe it in words, but I can try and capture it in my works and I invite you on this journey with me!
